COURSE OVERVIEW
Italia Conti’s new Pre-Vocational Preparation course has been designed to be accessible and supportive to students who may not be able to commit to full time training.
By undertaking this course, you will work on technical and performance-based skills. Whether you are looking to immerse yourself in the performing arts sector as an extracurricular activity or to find out if Musical Theatre full-time training is for you.

Are you taking a year out to develop some extra skills towards your audition for a full-time drama school?

Have you appeared in musicals at school or with your youth theatre before, but you have had feedback at audition that you need to work on your dance skills as you’ve not studied ballet or jazz before?

Have you danced for years but never sung on your own before?
This course is for you and will let you explore and learn about your talent within a supportive and inspiring setting.

AUDITION FEE WAIVER
Italia Conti welcome application for audition fee waivers for those who are eligible.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
ENTRY TO PART-TIME PRE-VOCATIONAL PREPARATION COURSE IN MUSICAL THEATRE REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING:
- 14+ by the 31st August in the year of entry.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
After completing the application process you will be invited to submit an online audition where you will be required to demonstrate a variety of skills. Information about auditions can be found below.

Applicants must complete an application form and pay the audition fee (£15) in order to be considered for the course. Upon receiving your application we will contact you with your audition date.
Please note if you have auditioned for any of our other fulltime courses in the same academic year, we will waive the audition fee and your audition will be taken into consideration.
Audition fees are non-refundable. These fees act as the administration fee for processing your application and audition.
In line with our admissions policy, Italia Conti reserves the right to alter or withdraw offers at any point.
AUDITION CRITERIA
ONLINE AUDITION
Auditionees will receive the result from their audition submission within 3-4 weeks of receipt. This is to ensure that every submission receives our attention.
