Italia Conti has always recognised that the industry demands excellent standards of training in all areas. Our aim has always been to develop courses to fulfil these goals.
Italia Conti’s reputation is renowned throughout the World and the request for the training it offers outstretches the commuting practicalities of just a London based centre.
Demand resulted in the opening of some part-time Schools throughout the Country, delivering our Associate Programme.
No audition is required as we wish to encourage participation in the arts for all abilities.
Classes are offered to students between 6 and 18+ years (plus 3-5 years at some locations). Whether it’s for recreation, physical and social development or as a serious step towards a long-term career in performing arts, the emphasis is on enjoyment and first class training.
FACULTY
Our staff are all chosen for their ability and experience. Many are seasoned professionals who have worked in the industry and have a wealth of credits to their name. All staff are DBS checked and we always have a designated first aider on site.
OPPORTUNITIES
WORKSHOPS & HOLIDAY COURSES
Italia Conti has close links with the professional world of performing arts and we draw on these links to enhance the experience of our students. We offer workshops and masterclasses where specialists in their field come in to share their knowledge. Additional workshops are also offered with our holiday courses.
SHOWS & EXAMS
Italia Conti Associates Schools regularly take part in productions to showcase their work and this is often a highlight of the year for many students. Those at the appropriate standard may also have the opportunity to take dance and acting exams and gain qualifications and certificates with the exam boards.
ITALIA CONTI AGENCY
We are able to put forward exceptional students for representation by the Italia Conti Agency in London which finds work for young people in the performing arts. The Agency has placed many young performers in professional work from roles in West End theatre to film, television and commercials.

AGES
Students are only accepted between the ages of 3 - 18 years.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
No audition is required for our classes as we wish to encourage participation in the arts for all abilities. We offer a free trial session before you commit to enrolling. This can be arranged by contacting your nearest Associate School’s Principal directly.
UNIFORM
Students are required to wear the Italia Conti Associate uniform and appropriate shoes for specific classes. Uniform can be purchased from our online store here.
WELFARE
The safety and wellbeing of our students is of paramount importance at Italia Conti Associates.
Our students are taught and cared for by experienced, trained, DBS checked staff. A minimum of two trained First Aiders are always present.
We recommend students bring plenty of water and snacks with them to sessions.
FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
Many of our students progress onto our full-time, professional training courses.
The Associate classes and courses are the perfect stepping stone for this.

All prospective students are invited to join us for a free trial day where you can see how the Associate School runs, meet the teachers and other students, take a tour of our facilities, ask any questions you may have and take part in our classes. We encourage you to try as many classes as you are interested in to ensure you are happy and have picked the right classes for your age and ability. Trial classes are subject to availability.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU
Our part-time Associate Schools take place predominately at weekends and in evenings offering classes for 3-18 year olds. We offer a variety of classes including Acro, Acting, Aerial, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip-Hop/Street, Jazz/Modern, Tap, Modern, Musical Theatre, Singing and Tap.
We give full training and our team at Head Office will support you in all areas of administration, finance, safeguarding, marketing, creative content and business management to ensure you are providing outstanding performing arts training to the high standards we expect across the Country. Then you can focus on delivering excellent classes in your School.
We will pass on the knowledge we have developed from years of experience of operating performing arts schools all over the UK. We understand that it is not always easy to find the funds to start your own business which is why we have in place an exciting new plan in order to keep your initial outlay very low.
